I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
